Jeremiah 23:24

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”

Shares theme of God's omnipresence; nothing is hidden from Him.

“Though they dig down to the depths below, from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens above, from there I will bring them down. Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, there I will hunt them down and seize them. Though they hide from my eyes at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them. Though they are driven into exile before their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them.”

Similar to Jeremiah, it speaks of God's inescapable presence and judgment.

“"But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!"”

Addresses the immensity of God and the inability of any space to contain Him.

“God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’”

God's presence is near; He is not far from us.

“"Is not God in the heights of heaven? And see how lofty are the highest stars! Yet you say, ‘What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness? Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.’"”

Similar to Jeremiah, it emphasizes that God sees all, even in darkness.
