Ezra 6:5

““This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “ ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.”

Relates to the decree of Cyrus to rebuild the temple.

“He even removed the gold and silver articles of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem and carried to his temple in Babylon. These articles King Cyrus removed from his temple, and they were given to a man named Sheshbazzar, whom he had appointed governor,”

Concerns the return of the temple articles.

“Whatever the God of heaven has prescribed, let it be done with diligence for the temple of the God of heaven. Why should his wrath fall on the realm of the king and his sons?”

Emphasizes the importance of following God's instructions for the temple.

“In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites had come out of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the temple of the Lord.”
